Indiana Jones - Room Booby Traps Hits Stores

The award-winning toy company Uncle Milton has released a series of fun and educational toys that tie into the Indiana Jones franchise. The first one up for review is the Room Booby Traps set that features a dart-shooting idol and a spider dropping idol.

The dart-shooting idol shoots soft-tipped darts out of the eyes when the base is triggered by an opening door. It’s a great addition to a room to keep out an unwanted sibling or it makes a great desktop decoration. The spider-dropping idol hangs on a door and it’s mouth opens when the door opens and drops several soft spiders down to scare away any intruders. It also makes a great room decoration. The set also comes with a booklet giving a short history of gears and levels, two key components to a good, working booby trap.

It’s great to see the Indiana Jones brand expand beyond the traditional toys (action figures, vehicles, playsets, games, etc.) and into something unique. Uncle Milton has innovatively captured the essence of Indiana Jones while not just mirroring something already done with the Star Wars brand.
